The Looking Within Center 40 Day Lenten Journey: “Conversations With an Old Friend”
Our Lenten Journey will be based on 40 days of emailed audio recordings. The recordings are guided by Charles Ortloff (Spiritual Director and retired pastor) and Julie Stevens (Looking Within Center Director).

Session Fee: There is no cost for this 40 day Lenten journey.
Christ promises to be with us always. Imagine what that means: no more fears, no more worries, no more stress. If God is for us, who can be against us (Romans 8). But the problem is, we can get distracted. Like Peter walking on the water, our problems like great waves on the water, distract us. We lose our hope and confidence in Christ’s loving presence. We return to our fears and worries.
For these 40 days of Lent, Charles and Julie will share daily, emailed audio recordings (generally 3-4 minutes in length) that will help you consider three hymns that can fill up our hearts with love and joy and especially Christ’s presence. For one final time, journey through Lent with Charles and Julie, as in each of the 40 days, we will fill up our cup to the brim, with Christ’s promises, until we are ready to meet whatever may come today.
